Sorry to hear of Barts passing. He and his family provide an important service to the agricultural industry. While it was never good for a farmer to see his trailer pull in, he was always happy to be there, had at least one good story and always wanted to know how the farm was doing. Always spoke high of his son and the job he did in the plant. Thanks for the service Bart, RIP

I didn't really know Bart but I knew of him from my husband Al. He used to sell products to him at Champlain beef. Al used to get a kick out of him because he said he had a rough exterior but underneath was a heart of gold. Al hasn't heard yet that Bart has passed on but I will tell him when he gets home. He will be saddened by the news, as all of us Whitehallers are when we hear that we have lost another one of our own. God be with you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bart's family and friends during this time of unimaginable loss and sorrow. I had numerous opportunities to cross paths with Bart, and his dad, Tom, in the AM as they fueled up at Maplefields. Bart was always smiling, respectful and pleasant, as we would chat about grandchildren and my beef farm in West Haven. We have lost such a great person and I will always be thankful for having my path cross with his.....rip, Bart.
