We are sorry to hear of Blanche's passing. My dad, her 2nd cousin, has fond memories of her.

Steve, your parents are both part of my best memories from going to school in Whitehall. You father led me to my first career (journalism) and you mother was a person who kept the school operating evenly. My thoughts and prayers.

Hi Steve,
So sorry to see your Mom's obituary in the Post Star. I never met your Mom but it sounds like she was a special lady. Which isn't surprising because it was obvious that she had raised a good son. I always enjoyed seeing you and your dad at Panera in Queensbury and you often spoke about your mom. You must have moved her out your way which sure made it easier to visit without having to travel so far. May she rest in peace with your dad. My thoughts are with you.

Best wishes, Jodi

Dear Steve and family, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. I know how close you were and how deeply your hearts were connected. When she and I worked together at PVI she made sure we all knew about her Steve!! God blessed her with a loving family and a long life. I'm out of town and feel badly that I won't be able to say goodbye to my mentor and sweet friend. God bless you and your family.

As son Steve's roommate in college, I met Blanche in the 70s. I have many fond memories of visits with Blanche and Joe over the years. She was a font of valuable and practical wisdom and sometime supplier of pork roast dinners for us! Heaven is a better place now and Joe says: "It's about time!" I am deeply sorry for this loss.

The most gentle of women who gave texture and brought greater meaning to a harsh world, from her contact with tender school children to the community at large. Her life was a blessing to many and we wish her family to know how widely and dearly she was valued among us.

I am very sorry for your loss. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories. Although it was quite some time ago, I remember working with her at Social Services. One thing i remember from those days was that she often spoke of her son, Steven. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
