Gail M. (Angus) Affinito

Whitehall- Gail M. Affinito, 79, of Kirtland Street, passed away at her home on January 18, 2018.  Gail was born on December 10, 1938 in Watervliet, NY.  She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Helen (Gordon) Angus.

She was employed and was the manager of the Troy Shirtmakers Guild in Whitehall for many years before their closing.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Gordon Angus and his wife Loretta, Gary Angus, and Neal Angus. Her brothers in law, Henry Affinito, Edward Affinito, Sister in law Holly Angus.  Her mother and father in law Henry and Philomena Affinito.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Francis A. Affinito Sr., their children Francis A. Affinito Jr. and his companion Denise, Cindy Jacobsen and her husband Tom, Joe Affinito and his wife Stephanie. Her brothers Wayne Angus, Bruce Angus and his wife Carol, five sisters in law Kathy Angus, Gail Angus, Kay Affinito, Vicky Affinito and Sandy Angus.

 Brothers in law John Affinito and his wife Martha, Richard Affinito and his wife Phyllis, She is also survived by their grandchildren which were the love of their lives. Sarah Brennan, Chris Lupo, Nicholas Affinito, Justin Affinito, Logan Affinito, Jessica Affinito, Hunter Affinito, Miranda Affinito, Justice Affinito, and many nieces and nephews.

At her request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

The family would like to thank Debbie Pauquette and the staff at the Holbrook Adult Home in Granville for their care.  Trish and Stacey at Washington County Health Services.  The Skenesborough Emergency Squad and Brenda, Penny and Brooke of the Fort Hudson Health Services.
