James K. Monty Jr.

Whitehall- James K. Monty Jr., passed away after a long illness on June 12, 2017.  He was born on December 9, 1957 in Glens Falls, New York.  He was the son of Beverly (Wood) Martens and the late James K. Monty Sr.

James was a graduate of the Whitehall High School. He worked with his family on their local farm.  He was also a part-time police officer for the Village of Whitehall.

He enjoyed time at lake with his family and always looked forward to his trips to Glens Falls, so he could choose a restaurant that he wanted to try.

Left to cherish his memory are his Mother, Beverly (Larry) Martens of Hendersonville, NC, Lee (James) Shattuck of Whitehall, Richard and his companion Tammy Seilheimer of Scottsdale, AZ, Karen (Tim) Rooker of Whitehall,  Calle (Francis) Donovan of Whitehall, Toni (Gene) McKenna of Whitehall, several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family members.
