Whitehall- Beatrice M. Arquette 101 years old, formerly of Whitehall, NY passed away on January 6, 2018 of natural causes at the Mountain View Center in Rutland VT.
She was born on March 29, 1916 in Whitehall and was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Whalen) Adams.
Bea married Arthur Joseph Arquette on August 26, 1943 and was a Whitehall High School Graduate of the Class of 1934.
She worked for many years in downtown Whitehall at Foster’s Department store and later at Mary Barber’s Clothing Store. Bea mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren at her summer cottage on Lake Bomoseen. Gram Beattie loved Playing Cards, crocheting, quilting and eating Sweet’s.
Beside her parents and her husband Arthur she was predeceased by her four sisters Lorraine Adams, Vera wood, Eleanor Hoey, and Theresa Hyatt. Four Brothers, Raymond Adams, Roy Adams, Robert Adams and William Adams.
Survivors include their two children Kalsey David and Sue of Syracuse, Anne Marie and Rick Sabatino of Rutland, VT. Three grandchildren Kristen Arquette Gale, Karla Arquette Reighter, Kim Mack. Five beloved great-grandchildren, Evan Michael Reighter, Lily Mae Reighter, Nathaniel Adams Gale, Gabriella Antonia Gale, Ameila Katherine Mack and sister-in-law Teresa (Richard) Arquette.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc. 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY on Friday January 12, 2018 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. A prayer service will be conducted at 1:00PM by Deacon Robert Wubbenhorst of the Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Whitehall.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Mountain View Center and also Bayada Hospice for their wonderful care.

Following the prayer service there will be a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Whitehall Elks Lodge #1491.
