Whitehall-Cindy L. Bishop, 59, of Poultney Street, passed away unexpectedly at the Glens Falls Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1958 in Albany, New York.
Cindy married her best friend Ernest Bishop on July 7, 2001 and they spent 21 amazing years together. She devoted her life to being a wife, mother to their children, and spoiling her grandchildren, whom she adored.
She loved sewing, gardening and baking, everyone enjoyed and looked forward to her baked goodies.
Cindy was dearly loved and will be sorely missed, her laughter was simply contagious.
Cindy was predeceased by her father Elroy Saddlemire and a grandson Brian Rockenstire Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband Ernest Bishop; her children John Rockenstire and Sarah Nickels of Granville, Brian and Tiffany Rockenstire of Whitehall, Angie and Larry Maiolo of Ticonderoga, Heather Bishop Rogers of AR, Samantha Bishop of Hebron. Her siblings, Robert and Nancy Saddlemire of South Glens Falls, Tina Baldwin of Buffalo, Ira Saddlemire and spouse of Fort Edward, Linda Saddlemire and spouse of Rochester, Darlene Rafferty of Schaghticoke, Joanne Lilac of Albany, Michael Saddlemire of South Glens Falls, John and Lucy Saddlemire of Fort Edward, Sharon and Ken Straight of Schuylerville, Donald and Shele Saddlemire of Glens Falls. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc. 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY from 11am to 1pm on July 13, 2018. A prayer service will follow calling hours conducted by Daniel Thompson Lay Minister of the Whitehall United Methodist Church officiating. A burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery in Hartford, NY.
