Whitehall/Queensbury- Constance B. “Skeets” Conlon. 94, of Queensbury, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Glens Falls Center with her loving family by her side.

She was born on January 11, 1924 in Whitehall, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Madeline (Lindsay) Terry.

She married Francis “Hackett” Conlon on February 17, 1945, they were married for 44 years before his passing on April 23, 1989.

Throughout her early years Skeets was employed by several businesses in Whitehall, such as the Champlain Silkmill, The Dress Factory and Rozelli’s Clothing Store.

She enjoyed camping, bowling, golfing, and bus trips with the girls.  She was very social person who was very quick witted.  At age 92 she would enjoy going for a boat ride on Lake Bomoseen or Lake George, she loved nothing more than just hanging out with her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Skeets was predeceased by two grandsons, Paul DeChick and Drew Conlon, sister and brother in law Evelyn and Melvin Griffin and brother and sister in law Gerald and Joyce Terry, two infant sisters Marion and Edith Terry, and also several in-laws.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons Raymond (Marilyn) Conlon, James Conlon, David (Kaye) Conlon, three Daughters, Linda (Richard) Bleibtrey, Terry (Michael) Fuller, Janet DeChick (Gary Constant), 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Private services for family will be at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc., 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Whitehall. 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Bleibtrey, Stephen Fuller, Gregory Fuller, Matthew DeChick, Michael DeChick, and Morgan Conlon.

Burial will be in the spring in the Greenmount Cemetery.

A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the Mass at the Whitehall B.P.O. Elks Lodge 1491.

The family has suggested that memorial contribution be made in Skeets name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065
