Donald A. Gosselin

Whitehall-Donald A. Gosselin Sr. 73, of State Route 22, passed away on May 15, 2019 at his home.  Born on April 22, 1946, he was the son of the late Wilfred (Gossie) and Pauline Gosselin.

In his younger years, Donald had worked at Finch and Pruyn paper Company in Glens Falls.  In the late 70’s he went to work for the Village of Whitehall, where he was injured and became disabled.

Donald loved the wilderness and especially enjoyed to trap and fish.

Besides his parents he is predeceased by his two daughters Hope and Melissa Gosselin; Brothers, Bruce, Paul and David Gosselin.

He leaves behind his companion of 11 years Theresa Stevens, his children; Gail, Don Jr., Danny, Kathy and Carrie; step children, Michael, Kayla and Kimberly.  His brothers; Michael, Russell, Barry and Brian, Sisters; Becky and Jill.  He also leaves behind a special Aunt Judy Baker, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday May 23, 2019 at the Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Whitehall with the Reverend Rendall Torres officiating.   Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
