Jeanette N. (Recco) Romeo

Rome/Whitehall- Jeanette N. Romeo, 81, from Mohawk Gardens Apartments in Rome, NY passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2017 at her home.  Jeanette was born on July 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sadie (Carletta) Recco.

She lived in Vergennes, VT for the last 35 years and just recently moved back to Rome, NY.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Francis P. (Bud) Romeo, who passed away in 1992. Two sons Christopher P. Romeo who passed away in 1962, Daniel C. Romeo in 2014 and a sister Marie Rossi.

She is survived by two sons Francis P. Romeo IV and his wife Pamela of Bella Vista, AR: Terry L. Romeo and his wife Patricia of Wynantskill , NY.  Two Brothers, one sister, a Granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, Brother-In-laws and Sister-in-Laws.

Calling hours will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc. 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY 12887.  Following the calling hours a graveside service will conducted at the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Whitehall at 2:30pm.
