Marguerite J. (Goulding) Trudeau

Clemons- Marguerite “Meg” Jane Trudeau, 79, went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2019 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Meg was born on April 26, 1939 in Quincy, Illinois to the late Jane and William Goulding.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Richard Trudeau, her daughters; Pamela Atkinson of Whitehall NY and Linda Ohara of Clemons NY, a son Richard Hobbs of Glens Falls, NY;  stepdaughter, Robin McGrathand, and stepson, Richard Trudeau of Putnam Station NY. She is also survived by 11 siblings.

Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  

Meg enjoyed family gatherings, and fellowship with her church family.

A homecoming service will be held at 11:00am on January 19, 2019 at New Life Ministries at the First Baptist Church 6 South Park Place, Fair Haven, Vermont.  Visitation will commence at 10am in the First Baptist Church and finish at the start of the homecoming service.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in her name to Victory Church-Feeding Program P.O. Box 6818 Albany, NY 12206 or the Foley Cancer Center at the  Rutland Regional Medical Center,  160 Allen St, Rutland, VT 05701.
