Eloise (Leddick) Wheeler

Whitehall- Eloise (Red) Wheeler, 91, of South Bay Road, Clemons, New York, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 in the Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born October 4, 1925 in Whitehall, New York to the late G. Raymond and A. Katherine (Brown) Leddick.

After graduating from Whitehall High School, she went on to attend Rutland Business College, where she received her degree.  She worked for Champlain Spinners and for the Kingsley Law Firm as Frank Kingsley’s legal secretary in Whitehall.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bernard (Porky) Wheeler, here Sister Edith (Dee Dee) Ashline, her niece and nephew Peggy and Wes Ashline.

She is survived by her son, Raymond, (Barbie Flayter), her sister, Nan Gordon and three nephews, Bruce, Scott and Mark Gordon.

Red enjoyed fishing and being out on the water, yard sales, her flowers and being on her beloved mountain.

At her request there will be no calling hours or services.
