Faye A. Jones

Whitehall – Faye Jones, 81, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her children and her cat Angel.

Faye was born April 7, 1942, in Whitehall.  Daughter of the late Wilfred and Lorraine Rushia.  Faye married the love of her life on October 5, 1961, John F. Jones Sr.  They were married for 45 years until his passing on July 5, 2006.

Faye is predeceased by her son John F. Jones Jr., two brothers Maynard and Ronald.  She leaves behind three children, Karen (Bill) Martel, James (Jodie) Jones, and Kristy (Jim) Martel, and her cat Angel of 19 years, six grandchildren Amanda, Jessica, Caleb, Isaac, Trevor, and Tyler, and eight great-grandchildren , two sisters Lori Rober and Karen McCauliffe.

Faye was a lifetime active member to her church Our Lady of Hope.  She donated many years of service to the Skene Manor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Faye’s name to the Skene Manor, PO Box 184, Whitehall, NY 12887.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm  on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the Our Lady of Hope Church, 9 Wheeler Ave., Whitehall with the Rev. Zachariah Chichester officiating.
