Frederick "Fred" Leo Palmer

Whitehall – Frederick “Fred” Leo Palmer, 86, passed away on Thursday February 1, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side.  He was born on July 14, 1937, in Cambridge, MA to the late William and Dorothy (Hayes) Palmer.

Fred was a long-time employee of Washington County as a civil engineer. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carole and his children; Stephen, Pamela, Joseph and Amanda, his grandchildren; Karl and Nathaniel Palmer, Hayden Miller, Bailey Daigle, Savanah and Timothy Lotz, great-grandchildren; Penelope, Cecilia, Finnegan and Eloise, his siblings; Margot, Pamela, James, and Dorothy Jean “DJ”.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by an infant daughter Adrianne, and a brother, William “Bud” Palmer.
