Whitehall-Herbert Tracy was born August 16, 1944, the son of Rose Villeneuve Denno. He graduated from Whitehall High School as Vice President of the Class of 1962. He married Patricia Latrell on October 24th, 1964.
Together they raised four sons that Herb was extremely proud of: Scott (Barbara) of Whitehall, Rodney (Sarah) of Whitehall, Jay (Lisa) of Clay, and Brian Beaty (Jodi) of Enfield, CT. He has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He had many dogs all his life and loved them all.
He worked many jobs starting with the Grand Union, Coat Factory, Paul Novelty, working construction with his brother-in-law Wayne, and finally retiring with a propane company as a district manager.
Herb with his wife and sons worked with students in school on plays, proms, and stage sets for local and state Jr. Miss Programs. He said, “he never met a kid he didn’t like.”
Herb enjoyed many years of fishing, camping, and spending time at the local Elks Lodge.
He is predeceased by his mother, Rose Denno and brothers David Tracy, and Robert Denno.
Herb is also survived by his sister Rose Marie (Dan) Trainor, his brother Joe (Helen) Denno and his best friend, Jim Durant who he said was “his brother from another mother.”
No services are to be held per his request.
