Jerry Sacco

Glens Falls , NY - Jerry Sacco, 86, of Glens Falls, NY, left this earth and all who knew and loved him, in Jerry's words "to be with God" on January 28th, 2023

Jerry was born in Whitehall, NY, moved as a child to White River Junction, VT. He graduated from Hartford High School, where he and his twin brother Harry, grew to fame in sports, both excelling in basketball.

Later in life his passion was card games, playing and calling bingo, greeting people with his warm and infectious smile, a joke for the day and inspiring many with his acts of kindness, calling countless his friends.

Jerry is predeceased by his parents, James and Minnie Scrimo-Sacco, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Harry, Tony, Andy, Louie, Philomena, and Marietta.

He is survived by his daughter Stacey (Michael) O'Connell, his granddaughter, Emily, his grandson, Liam, his adopted daughter, Kelly Bovee-Dishong (Tim), his adopted granddaughter, Siterra Bovee, (Nick), adopted grandson, Joshua Collins, brother, James Sacco, brother- in- law, dear friend and good buddy, Kenneth Guthrie, sister- in- law, Janet Sacco, his special friend, Marlene Healy, several nephews and nieces.

There will be no calling hours or services, at the request of the deceased. A private burial will be in the spring at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Whitehall, NY.

Donations may be made to local animal shelters in Jerry's name.
