Jessup O. Paro, 35, of Queensbury, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2024.
Jessup was born on November 14, 1988 to Daniel and Sally (Rehm) Paro in Fair Haven, VT. He was the oldest of their three children. Eventually, his family moved to Whitehall, NY where he attended school and forged lifelong friendships that endured during the years that followed. He is survived by his parents, father Daniel Paro and mother Sally (Rehm) Paro, wife Emily (Montross) Paro, and son, Elijah O. Paro. He is, also, survived by his two siblings, brother Brandon Paro, his partner Amanda Adams and their son (nephew) Easton, and sister Jasmine Paro. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; William and Sandy Paro and his maternal grandparents; Edward and Ella Rehm. His two best friends Leon Gordon and Jake Rovelli.
In 2007, Jessup graduated from Whitehall High School. He went on to study welding and fabrication at Modern Welding School in Schenectady, NY. For the past 12 years, he was a welder at J.E. Monahan Fabrications in Queensbury, NY. Here he developed a professional relationship with Russell Smith that blossomed into a great friendship.
Jessup met his soulmate, Emily, in 2019 at Americade in Lake George, NY where they shared a love for motorcycles. Their relationship developed quickly and was built on quirkiness, morbid humor, good laughs, and a love language that only they understood. In April 2020, Jessup took Emily on a hike to Brant Lake where he proposed to her on top of the mountain. It was soon after that they shared vows to become one on August 21, 2020 on a hill overlooking Saratoga Historical Park in Saratoga, NY and went on to have their son, Elijah, in September 2021.
Jessup was an avid outdoorsman and adventurer; he regularly enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing, riding his Harley, racing go-carts, hitting the trails on his mountain bike, kicking up dirt on his dirt bike, hiking several mountain areas, and working on Land Rovers with his father, Dan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a light to everyone around him, that person who would always have your back and show up when you needed it most, a man who other men looked up to.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 4th, at Jillson Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY. Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life gathering with food and refreshments immediately following at his In-laws, Frank and Heather Renaud's home located at 3 School Street, Whitehall, NY.
