Katherine (Kathy) Rose Kuiper

Katherine Rose Kuiper passed away August 30, 2025 at the Elderwood in Ticonderoga.

She was the daughter of the late Carl and Louise Monty.

She is predeceased by her Husband Hank Kuiper, her brothers; James and Edward Monty and her Sister Betty Monty,  also by her grand daughter Melissa Cowles.

Kathy was born February 22, 1937. She enlisted in the Air Force in 1956, where she met her husband. They moved back to Whitehall to raise their four children. In 1978 they bought the Village Diner where they served their community for 25 years. She loved cooking and baking, and playing bingo. She also loved her doggies, parakeets, and her rabbit Thumper. She is survived by her children, Norine Kuiper, Louise Hayward with her husband Russ, Carl William Kuiper, and Patti Kuiper. Serval nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours. Her burial will be Thursday September 4th in Truthville at 11am. We would like to say thank you to Dr. Sharma and all of Mom’s doctors. We would also like to thank Skenesborough Rescue and surrounding squads.
