Kathleen "Kaye" L. Ferrin

Kathleen “Kaye” Lola Ferrin passed away on May 31, 2023 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. 

Kaye was born on October 25, 1946 in Poultney, Vt. Her family lived on “the farm” on Tanner Hill Road in Whitehall, NY for many years. 

In the last few years, Kaye loved spending her summers  in her camper at her  son Ray’s house in Shushan. She also greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her niece, Mona Bourn, watching movies and reminiscing about all the good times growing up on “the farm”. 

When her Great granddaughter Mazie entered her life, her heart grew so much. Mazie brought so much joy and happiness into her life. “GG” would look forward to spending every Wednesday with Mazie and letting Mazie pick out presents from her present bowl. 

Kaye is survived by her 4 children who she meant the world to; Raymond Hurley III, Shushan, NY, Ellen McKee and her husband  Brian, Whitehall, NY, Augustus Hurley and his wife Rachel, Whitehall, NY and Wesley Hurley and his wife Tara, Baldwin, NY. 

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Jonathon Hurley and his wife Marianne, Colorado Springs, CO, Jackie Hurley, Fort Ann, NY, Ayla McKee and Ray Foote, Hampton, NY, Ethan McKee, Fort Edward, NY, Kelsey Hurley, New York City, NY, Lindsay Hurley, Tampa, FL and Olivia Hurley, Baldwin, NY.  Also 1 Great Grand child, Mazie Foote, Hampton, NY. 

As per Kaye’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private
