He played drums in several area bands, most recently CAC & Barefoot Parrots. He enjoyed playing golf, rooting on the New York Jets and New York Yankees. He is survived by his wife; a brother, Randy, of Clemons, NY; a niece and nephew; several cousins and brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Chadwick and Wren Smith.

The family would like to thank Dr. Yun and staff at C.R. Wood Cancer Center, Hudson Headwaters Palliative Care and High Peaks Hospice who took excellent care of Les.
