Linda Dee DeLorme

Whitehall - Linda Dee DeLorme, 77, of 24 Boardman St., died Thursday, December 26, 2024 surrounded by her family following a brief illness.

Born on October 22, 1947, in Ticonderoga, she was the daughter of James and Josephine (DeVecchi) Mitchell.  

Linda married Clemis DeLorme on October 30th, 1965. They were joined in marriage for 30 years, raising their family in Whitehall. Linda is predeceased by Clemis and a long-time dear friend Richard Napier.

She enjoyed camping, bingo, gambling, shopping and touring with her friends, most recently in a salmon-colored Spark.

She is survived by her children Sean (Betsy) DeLorme, Michelle (James) Greenwood, and Richard (Tammy) DeLorme; grandchildren Joshua (Amanda) Boule, Preston (Megan) Boule, and Gavin Boule, Shane (Cheyanne) DeLorme, Paxton, Paige, and Cooper DeLorme; great grandchildren; Preslie, Rose and Theron Boule, siblings; James Mitchell, Tina and Josephine DeVecchi, Angela Foster, and Craig DeVecchi and many dear friends.

At Linda’s request, no official services are scheduled. A celebration of life is planned for January 11, 2025, starting at noon, at the American Legion in Whitehall. A spring burial is planned at a family plot in Ironville, NY.
