Nancy J. (Day) Roseboom

Whitehall: Nancy J. Roseboom, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital. 

Nancy was born on June 21, 1948 in Granville, New York. 

She is predeceased by her mother, Mildred "Millie" Day and her father James Day, Sr.  She is also predeceased by her brothers, Robert Day and James Day, Jr.  

Nancy loved Elvis and was an avid Mets Fan. She enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee with her friends and loved spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her daughter Catherine White and her husband Heath of Rome, NY; her granddaughters Emily and Olivia White, all of Rome, NY; her sisters, Lorraine Day of Glens Falls, Dorothy Dennis of Whitehall; Karen Gordon of Whitehall, Marcia Hoffman and her husband Charles Hoffman of Conway, S.C and her close friends, Nicole and Neil Hughes of Whitehall. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday August 18, 2016 from 6-8PM at the Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams Street, Whitehall.  

Funeral Services will be held Friday August 19, 2016 at 11AM at the Jillson Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Shepard, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Whitehall officiating.  Interment will follow at the Greenmount Cemetery in Whitehall.

Following the interment, family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship and refreshments at the B.P.O.Elk's Lodge #1491, Elks Way in Whitehall.

The family would like to thank the Skenesborough Rescue Squad, Dr. Byrne and the Glens Falls Hospital staff for all their efforts and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nancy's name be made to the Upstate SPAC, 588 Queensbury Ave, Queensbury, NY 12804.
