Whitehall-Patricia (Patty) Ann Mason (Ruby) beloved mother and Mema, age 61, of Whitehall, NY passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2024. She has left a tremendous void that her family and friends cannot imagine ever being filled.
Patricia was born in Glens Falls, NY on June 11, 1963, to the late Patricia (Gordon) Ruby and Francis (Frank) Ruby. Patty was a 1981 graduate of Whitehall High School. She felt nothing but love for all she knew, especially her beloved children; Jerrick Jones (Kim) of Hampton, NY, and Allison Persons (Nathaniel) of Burnt Hills, NY. Her grandchildren Chaun Reyes, Lyla Jones, Ryder, Frances and Cecelia Persons. Patty also leaves behind her beloved husband Ross Mason and stepchildren Zachary Mason (Lyka), Jedd Mason (Joelle) and Paige Read (James) along with several step grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Susan Huntington and brother Thomas Ruby (Kasey). Patty was predeceased by her sister and best friend Annie Gordon. Patty also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patty spent over 30 years working at the Fair Haven Inn, where she gained many friends along the way. Patty was known for her kind and outgoing nature, especially her heart of gold. She lived her life with the sole purpose of bringing happiness and love to all those around her, also known as the “life of the party”. She enjoyed gambling especially with one of her favorites, Paul O'Brien. She loved baking, cooking, gardening and an ice-cold Coors Light. She also enjoyed music, dancing, laughing and truly lived her life full of vibrancy.
Family and friends may call from 1 PM to 3 PM on January 4, 2025, at Jillson's Funeral Home, 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY. Immediately following there will be a celebration of life at the Whitehall Marina.
