Peter D. Rushkoski

Peter D. Rushkoski, 49, resident of Whitehall, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2026.  Born December 19, 1976, in Troy, NY to his mother Gail (Kodadar) Peterson and his stepfather Paul Shevlin who affectionately knew him as “Mouff”. 

A graduate of Mechanicville High School, he earned his associate degree from Sage Junior College in Albany, NY,

Peter was devoted to his children, enjoyed being outdoors in the spring and summer months, where he would garden with his children and was an avid video gamer.

His greatest love were his two children, Sean and Sklyer Rushkoski.

Peter is predeceased by his grandparents Barbara and Donald LeMieux of Waterford, NY, and his beautiful infant daughter Madison Rose.

He is survived by his parents, Gail and Paul of Whitehall, NY., brothers Adam (Danielle) Rushkoski of Fort Edward, NY; Marc Rushkoski of Whitehall, and his children Sean and Skyler Rushkoski of Whitehall, as well as his nephew Noah Rushkoski of Fort Edward, NY.

There will be no calling hours at the request of the family. 

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
