Rita Ann Huntington, 92, passed away on March 18th 2025. She was born in Whitehall, NY, November 1, 1932 to the late Albert and Marjorie (Bartholomew) Briggs. She married William H. Huntington on October 25, 1950. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband William, brother Stanley Briggs, in-laws Leonard and Mae Huntington and daughter-in-law Barbara Huntington.
She is survived by: 7 children (spouses) - William K.B. (Diane), Eric (Alice), Deborah, Patrick, Michael, Thomas, and Nathaniel (Nancy) Huntington; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
There will be no services. A burial will be in the South Putnam Cemetery at the convenience of the family, at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society @ https://lls.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital @ www.stjude.org.
