Sandra L. Currier

Granville: Sandra Currier (Boo), 44, daughter of Leslie and Ellen (Belden) Currier, went into the arms of the Lord on May 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long, hard battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease).

Sandy was a warm hearted and caring person who put others before herself.  Her contagious laughter put smiles on all those around her.

Sandy enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Her hobbies were fishing, hunting, playing bingo, and playing cards.

Besides her parents she is survived by her fiancé and love of her life, Aaron Gaucher of Granville, one daughter, Cassandra Currier and her fiance Andrew Losaw of Granville, and one son, Clinton McFarren Jr. of Granville, her sister Ellen and husband Lance Monroe of Granville, her brother, Michael Currier of Granville, and her sister, Linda Ehntholt of Granville.

She had two grandchildren, a granddaughter Kaitlyn Carr, and a grandson  Blayde Losaw, who filled her heart with joy, laughter and happiness every day.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 3:00-5:00 pm at Jillson Funeral Home, Inc., 46 Williams Street, Whitehall, NY 12887.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made in Sandy’s name to your local SPCA.
