Theresa Hanley

Whitehall – Theresa Hanley, 79, passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at the Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness, with her daughter Wendy and her son-in-law Duane by her side.

Born on January 18, 1945, in Riverside, California, to the late Margaret (Lovelady) and Ellery Thomas Willett.

Theresa worked as a CNA at the Hallmark Nursing Home until her retirement.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Thomas Hall, her husband Michael Hanley, her loving companion Robert Cameron, stepmother Jean Willett as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Wendy (Duane) Oliver of Whitehall, sister Donna Laflear of Florida; grandsons Matthew Oliver (Dani) of Warrensburg, NY; Nicholas Oliver of Whitehall; Terry Hall of Vermont; grand-daughters Megan Oliver of Glens Falls, Shelby Hall of Vermont; great-grandchildren Matthew Oliver Jr., Sky Oliver, Anthony Frazier and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours. The burial will be in the spring followed by a celebration of life. Date, time, and place to be announced.
