North Granville: Toni Lee Watson 63 was taken into the arms of our father in heaven on October 13, 2016 unexpectedly at her home.
She was born on June 17, 1953 in Granville. She was one of nine children, the daughter of Jensie Maldarella Parker and the late Robert Parker Sr.
Toni was married to Arthur J. Watson Sr. for 38 years before his passing on November 12, 2008. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert Parker Jr.
She was formerly employed at Sherwood Medical, Indian River Nursing Home and is presently employed at the Orchard Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Granville.
She is survived by three children Arthur J. Watson Jr. and his wife Theresa Rovelli Watson, Wendy Lee Watson and her Loving Companion Dave Rathbun, Danielle Sue Crump and her Husband Scott, five sisters Jensie (Tootsie) Whetherby, Nikki Conkey and husband James, June Stark and her husband Roscoe, Violet Landon and her husband Jim, Robin Goff and her husband Donald, two brothers Terri Parker and his wife Cherie, Danny Parker and fiancée Jean Soothcage and many nieces and nephews. She also had three Godchildren Michael Landon, Jennifer Knowles and Christian Goff.
Toni had a love and very good friend Roger Dekalb who loved her dearly, two of her closest friends were Rachael Daigle and Sandy McGinnis.
She loved her companionship with her four legged friends, especially Precious and Teddy. They will miss her dearly.
Some of her favorite pass times were sun bathing, shopping, getting her nails done and playing cards with her children. Baking was a specialty, especially at Christmas time which was her favorite holiday. We will all miss her banana bread. We love you, miss you and you will never be forgotten.
Family and friends may call at the Jillson Funeral Home Inc. 46 Williams Street Whitehall New York on Tuesday October 18, 2016 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, Skene Street, Whitehall by Father Declan Gibson, Missionary Priest in residence.
Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Whitehall, New York.
